Miralcles are possible

Yes, There I am, with Msgr. Sheeran. The Dean of the school.

Our Keynote speaker of the day was supposed to be Tony Snow but he was incapacitated by his cancer, and we had instead the spirited talk by immaculee Ilibagiza, who talked about the need to hold onto ones faith no matter how hard life’s struggles.  Immaculee was a survivor of the Rwandan genocide as a college student. She talked about the perseverance of prayer, especially the power of the rosary. During the genocide, she stayed in a regular size bathroom with 8 other women for 3 months. When she emerged, her whole family was killed. She found it in her heart to forgive her families murderers and promotes healing in her broken country.

In reflection CHECK OUT

St. Martin de Porres

A humble saint, who endured many hardships in life, including, being the son of a former slave, and endured racial discrimination. One of his notable thought, is that when we are persecuted by the world around us, we have one of to choices to make. We must choose to be bitter or better.
